Mold will often produce a musty or earthy smell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Check for any discoloration, warping, or peeling in the area as these all are signs of water damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Press on the drywall to check for dampness and firmness.
